No cancellation fee applies if the booking is cancelled more than 48 hours prior to departure time.
However, cancellation less than 48 hours of travel – 50% cancellation fee applies, and cancellation within 24 hours of travel (or no show) – 100% cancellation fee applies.
The Humpback Whales are observed in Hervey Bay during their southern migration which is usually during early July – late October. The dates can vary year to year as the whales are wild animals and their migration changes slightly each year.
The Beauty of K'Gari
K'gari (formerly Fraser Island) is the world's largest sand island. Home to its iconic white sand beaches, crystal clear water and wonderful wildlife. Our tours visit the Western side of K'gari, a remote place on the island where many never venture to. For those who love to ditch the crowds and enjoy paradise without the queues. We'd love to show you our slice of paradise, our tours depart daily from Hervey Bay.
What a View!
SWIM with whales?! That`s right, from mid-July through August, guests on our Remote K`gari + Whale Experience can pop on a wetsuit and enter the humpbacks` world. Curious whales often approach our vessel and you`ll get a view from above and below the water level as they dive, roll and spy hop. It`s free with your ticket and all gear is included.
Seeing these giant creatures up close is an experience not to be missed. Our full-day tour takes just 35 people each day and dates for the 2026 whale season are already booking out. Book now to secure your day with the whales.
