The annual GetYourGuide awards recognize the best and most exclusive experiences on the platform based on customer reviews, service standards, uniqueness in product offering and contribution to the local community.
It is an honour to receive this recognition amongst more than 50,000 travel activities in 7,600 destinations worldwide.
We were also thrilled to receive Gold at the 2019 Queensland Tourism Awards in our category for Tour & Transport Operators. We are proud to be keeping excellent company alongside some outstanding operators from across the state. Responsible Whale Watching
This year Hervey Bay has been officially recognised by the World Cetacean Alliance as an accredited Whale Heritage Site. Our region’s whale watching experiences are leading the way for responsible cetacean ecotourism experiences worldwide, helping tourists and travellers make informed, ‘gold star’ decisions when witnessing these amazing creatures in the wild.
Tasman Venture also holds Advanced Ecotourism certification from Ecotourism Australia. Responsible, respectful tourism is at the heart of what we do. It is incredible to see how these beautiful creatures feel safe enough to interact with us; they will approach the boat, roll to the side and watch us with the same curiosity that we have for them!
