Combine our Remote K’gari and Whale Experience tour with a full-day tour to Lady Elliot Island. On the Remote K’gari and Whales Experience you can expect to visit the west side of K’gari and spend time whale watching from our catamaran. Spend your day kayaking, swimming, snorkelling and sightseeing on some of the most beautiful and remote places on K’gari, as well as getting to see whales up close and personal.
The second half of your package is a Full-Day Tour to Lady Elliot Island, where the Southern Great Barrier Reef comes alive. Snorkel vibrant coral lagoons, spot turtles and soak in the natural beauty of this pristine eco paradise. This tour also includes scenic return flights from Hervey Bay.

Our Remote K’gari and Whales Experience tour will take you to three epic spots, Wathumba Creek, Awinya Creek and Bowarrady Creek as well as getting to see humpback whales up close and personal. This tour is by luxury catamaran, getting you to the off-the-beaten-track places in K’gari that many never get to see.

Each day our route can change up a bit, as we make sure we are visiting the different locations when the tides are in their favour. But don’t worry, the surprise just adds to the adventure. Our expert guides are the best in the business when it comes to whale sightings. So they’ll make a call based on the conditions and locations of the whales on when you will see them, they’ll let you know when to get the camera out!
This full-day tour departs from Hervey Bay Marina at 7:30am and returns at 4:3opm.

Our Half Day Whale Watch Encounter tour offers a guaranteed sightings policy, where you will receive an open dated return ticket if you do not see any whales. However, it is very uncommon to not see whales during the season dates.
No cancellation fee applies if the booking is cancelled more than 48 hours prior to departure time.
However, cancellation less than 48 hours of travel – 50% cancellation fee applies, and cancellation within 24 hours of travel (or no show) – 100% cancellation fee applies.
