Combine our Half-Day Whale Encounter tour with a full-day tour to Lady Elliot Island. On our whale watching tour you will witness the awe-inspiring humpback whales up close in the sheltered waters of Hervey Bay, known as one of the best whale watching spots in the world. You can choose from our morning or afternoon departure to best suit your itinerary.
The second half of your package is a Full-Day Tour to Lady Elliot Island, where the Southern Great Barrier Reef comes alive. Snorkel vibrant coral lagoons, spot turtles and soak in the natural beauty of this pristine eco paradise. This tour also includes scenic return flights from Hervey Bay.

Morning Tour Departs: 8:30am Returns: 12:30pm
Afternoon Tour Departs: 1:30pm Returns: 5:30pm
Hervey Bay is world-renowned as a place where whales stop and stay, using the calm, sheltered waters as a resting ground before continuing their migration. The beauty of this is that the whales are curious and interactive, often approaching our boat to spy hop, breach, tail slap, or roll playfully beneath us. Our expert guides are the best in the business when it comes to whale sightings, so they’ll make a call based on the conditions and locations of the whales on when you will see them, and they’ll let you know when to get the camera out!
Our half-day tour will have you getting up close and personal with whales, learning all about their wonderful nature and having a camera roll filled with memories you’ll never forget.

Your full-day Lady Elliot Island Tour gives you ample time to snorkel in crystal clear waters with an abundance of marine life on the spectacular Great Barrier Reef. You’ll visit one of the most pristine sections of Australia’s Great Barrier Reef from the air as well as from above and below the water all in one day.

Our Half Day Whale Watch Encounter tour offers a guaranteed sightings policy, where you will receive an open dated return ticket if you do not see any whales. However, it is very uncommon to not see whales during the season dates.
No cancellation fee applies if the booking is cancelled more than 48 hours prior to departure time.
However, cancellation less than 48 hours of travel – 50% cancellation fee applies, and cancellation within 24 hours of travel (or no show) – 100% cancellation fee applies.
