Need help choosing a tour?
No cancellation fee applies if the booking is cancelled more than 48 hours prior to departure time.
However, cancellation less than 48 hours of travel – 50% cancellation fee applies, and cancellation within 24 hours of travel (or no show) – 100% cancellation fee applies.
The Humpback Whales are observed in Hervey Bay during their southern migration which is usually during early July – late October. The dates can vary year to year as the whales are wild animals and their migration changes slightly each year.
The Beauty of K'Gari
K'gari (formerly Fraser Island) is the world's largest sand island. Home to its iconic white sand beaches, crystal clear water and wonderful wildlife. Our tours visit the Western side of K'gari, a remote place on the island where many never venture to. For those who love to ditch the crowds and enjoy paradise without the queues. We'd love to show you our slice of paradise, our tours depart daily from Hervey Bay.

The opportunity to experience a whale immersion is something we love to share with guests each year. There`s something special about being in the ocean alongside them, seeing their bodies move above and below the water level, and admiring their sheer size.
We offer whale immersions on our full-day Remote K`gari + Whale Experience. This is a small-group tour which guests often book a year in advance to secure their seat. As many dates are beginning to fill, if you`re hoping to swim with whales this year, here`s some important info to know:

SWIM with whales?! That`s right, from mid-July through August, guests on our Remote K`gari + Whale Experience can pop on a wetsuit and enter the humpbacks` world.
